I. David Daneils, Ph.D., CSD
Is an occupational health and safety professional, thought leader, and President/CEO of ID2 Solutions, LLC. He is also the host of the Psych Health and Safety USA podcast. Dr. Daniels holds a Ph.D. in Occupational Health and Safety, is certified as a Safety Director, holds a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion certificate from Cornell University, and completed the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program at Harvard University. Dr. Daniels is a life member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs and has served over 30 years in fire/rescue, EMS, and emergency management.
Dr. Megan McElheran,
Clinical Psychologist and CEO
Completed graduate training at the PAU-Stanford University Clinical Psychology Consortium, during which she obtained specialized training in the treatment of PTSD through the National Center for PTSD in Menlo Park, CA. She continues to focus on work with first responders, and her clinical practice involves work with active-duty military, Veterans, members of various firefighting organizations, medical personnel, and others who are directly or vicariously impacted by traumatic events. She completed a TEDx speech in 2011 related to Trauma, Change, and Resilience.
Derek O. Hanley
Is a longtime paramedic and disabled Veteran combat medic, author, published photographer, multi-instrumentalist, noted video producer, and is the founder of DOHP.net. Join him as he takes viewers on a visual journey through the first year of the pandemic through the lens of the medics on the streets every day of the extended crisis. Starting pre-virus, and all taking place pre-vaccine, see the brave EMS crews of Alameda County, CA deal with all of the challenges that came about during this time, including: a global pandemic, PPE shortages, demonstrations and looting, shootings, opioid overdoses, and more, coming to a conclusion at the mass vaccination site set up at the Oakland Colosseum.
Lillian Bonsignore
FDNY Chief of EMS Operations-Retired,
Chief Bonsignore, Paramedic, CIC- is a retired, 31-year veteran of the Fire Department of New York who served as the FDNY Chief of EMS Operations from 2019-2022 during the COVID Pandemic. She was the highest-ranking Officer in the EMS command, the highest-ranking uniformed female in FDNY and the first female to achieve a 4-star rank in the history of FDNY. Bonsignore was responsible for the operational oversight and leadership of more than 4500 EMS Providers in New York City where EMS responds to 1.5 million calls per year and retired in December of 2022.
Isaac Sobel, Founder RVNU EMS
It is fabled that Isaac negotiated the largest insurance settlement in ambulance industry history. For eight years, Isaac oversaw the billing for a large commercial ambulance service in New York. Isaac noticed that EMS agencies struggled to collect payment from insurance companies and facilities, and devised strategies to overcome these challenges. In 2021, he realized that the industry needed a financial champion. So, he set out to assist ambulance providers by supplementing the work of billing teams and billing agents. Thus, RVNU EMS was born.
Lt. David Dachinger, (ret)
Is the creator of the Responder Resilience podcast, an insightful show that sheds light on the challenges and triumphs of firefighters, EMS, dispatchers, and law enforcement professionals. He is also on the Advisory Board of Fairfield County Trauma Response Team.A two-time Grammy Award® nominee, David was a mixing engineer and producer, collaborating on numerous albums with artists such as Roberta Flack, Usher, Celine Dione, and The Isley Brothers.
Bonnie C. Rumilly, LCSW, EMT-B
Is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the treatment of Adults, Adolescents, Children and First Responders. Bonnie worked in Newtown treating Trauma directly after the Sandy Hook School Shootings and is an EMDR therapist. She is a Clinical Director of the Fairfield County Trauma Response Team, Inc., which treats First Responders for PTSD and Trauma. Bonnie is also a 21-year Emergency Medical Technician, and retired Chief of her EMS agency.
Dr. Candice Mcdonald, PhD
Is the Deputy CEO of the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC). Prior to joining the NVFC, Dr. McDonald spent twenty years working in government and finished her last decade of service at NASA. She has served in the volunteer fire service for almost twenty years as a firefighter, EMS Chief, instructor, inspector, and fire & life safety specialist. She is a nationally known speaker on public safety issues and was recognized by the former U.S. Fire Administration as a subject matter expert on retention and recruitment.

Duncan has been working in the EMS and Healthcare sector for over 25 years now with roles starting off as a volunteer in mid 90s right the way up to Senior Management roles within Australia and abroad. His experience spans government, military and non-government agencies, helping to develop and deliver transformational change across a globalised paramedicine network. Duncan has also worked within education and universities developing both undergraduate and postgraduate paramedicine university programs and is a Board Director on the International College of Advanced Practice Paramedics (ICAPP).

Is a 35-year highly accomplished executive focused in both the pre-hospital and healthcare operations improvement space with expertise in a variety of domains and topics. He is a leading industry expert on numerous matters, advising internationally with organizations, and governments on pre-hospital, mobile healthcare, and systems design and improvement efforts. Mr. Washko sits on a variety of boards and councils, is an author, researcher, educator, and is a balanced disruptive innovator, ideator and strategic visionary leader capable in business and cultural transformations.
Rob Lawrence

Has served in civilian & military EMS roles over 25 years. He works on both coasts as director of strategic implementation of PRO EMS In Cambridge, MA, and as executive director of the California Ambulance Association. He previously served as the COO of the award winning Richmond Ambulance Authority (Virginia), during his tenure, developing a Just Culture atmosphere that focuses more on education and mentorship than discipline.

Scott is a licensed attorney, specializing in Human Resources, employment law, reimbursement, and compliance matters. Scott is the Human Resources & Operational Consultant to the American Ambulance Association (AAA) and frequently lectures at EMS conferences. Maggie Adams
Serves as the President of EMS Financial Services, with over 25 years’ experience in the ambulance industry as an reimbursement and compliance consultant. Maggie is known for her practical approach and winning presentation style. She has worked with ambulance providers and billing companies of all kinds to provide auditing services, assess their billing for best practices, and support their billing and documentation training efforts. Maggie is a Cum Laude graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Asbel Montes,
Managing Partner of Solutions Group
Began his career in the ambulance industry in '99. His EMS career includes directing and leading teams that provided revenue cycle consultation to air and ground ambulance agencies, culminating into the position of Managing Partner of Solutions Group Consulting. Asbel is a respected thought leader on reimbursement initiatives within the industry and is a requested speaker at many healthcare conferences. Asbel is a contributing author in several EMS magazines and co-authoring the book, Management of Ambulance Services, as published by Prentice Hall in 2014.
